Camax Tool Company, Inc. offers inserts (also known as "t-nuts") in stainless steel and plain or nickel-plated brass, with standard thread pitches of 1/4-20 or 6mmX1. Custom thread alternatives can also be supplied. Stainless inserts are manufactured with proprietary P/M processes in 304 stainless for enhanced resistance to seawater corrosion, and brass inserts are machined from 360 brass rod stock.  Our Bullseye inserts feature formed threads for increased strength.  The P/M process has the added benefit of creating a very bondable surface, and all inserts have parallel flats on their flanges to further assure anchoring security. Additionally, no oil is used in the manufacturing processes, insuring inherent cleanliness.  All standard insert sizes are available, as are custom barrel heights.
